Picture of my wheel, also other parts of my car....all carbon fibre including dash, storage compartment, steering wheel, hoops, wing mirrors, internal door handles, tips on exhaust....plus water, voltage and oil gauges which all illuminate cool white....couple of pics below but taken in the dark with a flash.....let me know what you think...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that isn't a BMW individual steering wheel.

Your car actually looks like one on here a while back. I think his username was Markdesigns? He done loads of carbon fibre bits for his interior and I'm willing to bet that you have his old car.

Burst my bubble?!, it's a car, a second one at that, the fact it doesn't have that exact steering wheel has no bearing on me, I couldn't care, this is just a toy :poke: They are similar though with the main difference being the rim built into the wheel...

Regarding the car, quite likely, it's not new and has had previous owners, I never said or implied I did any of the work, I was just curious as to what some of you thought.

Ben is right. That's not a BMW individual wheel. It's an M Sport wheel.

EDIT: the carbon does look cool though :)

It most certainly is unique inside with the carbon fibre parts. I love it, personally. Looks awesome

Ok, I'll be the buzzkill - I don't really like the look of the insert on the steering wheel. I don't think it would be very nice having the hard plastic pressing on your hands. But as I've never seen this wheel or driven with it, it's just an opinion based on ignorance.
I do like the gauges in the ashtray though, gives the car that extra 'sporty' touch. Would be even nicer if they were angled a bit - are they easily readable?
What's the module under the handbrake lever?

The wheel in my car doesn't have the insert because it is a 'M' wheel, so feels thick but soft. The gauges are slightly angled and light up white, although I have to say they are a bit bright.

The module under the handbrake controls the air ride suspension, 8 presets or manual with lots of clearance or less than none at all.....cheers for your comments.

Sorry, I got confused because you said "I actually have one of these in my Zed albeit it, it's been carbon fibred so looks different." I thought you were talking about the plastic insert on the steering wheel.
You've got the m-sport steering wheel, same as me. I think it's a perfect mix of size and comfort
Thanks for explaining the air ride control. Oh, and the paintwork on your car looks very good from the pics you've posted, nice deep gloss.
Is it Sapphire or Carbon black?
Cheers.

Unbelievably, I may have managed to source one of these...if this comes off ill be one happy bunny! It's been reserved but the buyer hasn't paid yet. Seller is going to wait until tomorrow morning and if he hasn't had payment by then, it's mine.

Fingers crossed!
