Indie Service Costs E89

Just had a service done on my 2011 23i not had it long so first time its been in for servicing also 1st Z4 I've owned so nothing to compare.

Took it to BMW Indie in Leeds BMW & Mini specialist (they only work on BMW's & Minis)

Last service according to records was an oil change so this was a full service + brake fluid service

Air Filter, Oil Filter, Pollen Filter
Spark Plugs, Engine Oil
Brake Fluid
Total Parts £182.72, Total Labour £92.50 (£275.22)
Total incl VAT £330.26

was wondering how this compares to other Forum members servicing costs, and if there's much difference between Indie and Dealer costs.

That doesn't seem too bad.

I had a service on my E86 (so same engine as yours) last June by my usual BMW Indy (also BMW & Mini only). It was oil and filter, micro-filter, brake fluid change and a diagnosis for non-working air-con and it came to £200. But no air filter or plugs.

In May 2016 I had a service at Sytner. Just oil & filter, micro-filter and brake fluid and that came to £260.32!
 
According to the BMW website, the dealer would of charged you just over £415 for what you had done, so you certainly saved yourself some money.

Hi Buddy.

I am Yorkshire based and looking for a decent Indy.

My car had it's inspection one from Daniel MOT Centre- was it them? If not- would you let me know who it was and your thoughts on them please?

Hi there,
I took it to B N Works, Grant Avenue Leeds. The guys that run it are ex BMW Techs. Personally I thought they were good.
Its all very relaxed, dropped the car off , Guy running it sits down with you and gets the service history up from the BMW system, he gives you his recommendations based on the history and you pick what you want him to do, no hard sell.
He rang me later when they'd started work on it and told me the front disks were pitted/ corroded which i knew about told him i was going to do them myself. Again no pressure.
As I say I thought they were good and will be going back.

My car is a 30i E89 - Last full service done June 2019 £354.90 , however this included a £25.00 MOT (discounted as I've done full service with them), this was a garage in NW2 London.
