Indicator is flickering like mad

Yesterday as I indicated to turn left, a YELLOW warning light came on in the instrument panel.

Checking the lights i find the the left indicators a flashing at an increased rate..

Anyone know whats gone worong here?

What was the yellow warning light indicating.....?

Could be a defective indicator lamp. Is it working OK on the right side?

Just switch the hazzards on and see which bulb is not working ... ?

did that, and all of them flashed, but i think there was a gap in the line of yellow, maybe there are multiple bulbs for the rear indicator....this is what i couldnt work out on realOEM.

The rear indicators in the e89 are a string of LEDs. It is possible for individual lamps to fail. Usually through that old chestnut... water ingress.

Dealer time... new SEALED lamp clusters.

Still in Warranty

BOWKERS better not mess me about....

I had mine changed twice under warranty, took them that long to work out what was causing it (fault in the cluster case design), I wouldn't worry.

Happy to report the BOWKER BMW Blackburn, replace both rear light clusters under warranty and put the security patch on at the same time.

They also took me back to work as the pavements were slippy.
