Ebay will be the only place where you can buy the older index injectors. You can use all injectors from index 5 up to and including index 10 together but index 11 & 12 can not be mixed with index 10 and below due to different construction and calibration.
This applies to the injectors in banks of 3, so you only have to change all in bank 1 (cylinders 1,2,3) or bank 2 (cylinders 4,5,6) if you change to index 11 or 12.

Thanks Zikim. Managed to find 2 on ebay for £60 ! The seller said the same as you about mixing the index. Yet my local specialist (Munich Legends) were adamant that you have to use all the same index and can't mix them so were trying to suggest I would have to change all 6 at a cost of nearly £2k ! Sounds like they saw me coming !
£2k is a little high. The parts will come to £1200 and I would expect 2 hours labour so maybe £1400 all in.Robster said:
Seems like false economy to put old injectors back in the car that are known to be a weak point though. If two failed then the rest are likely heading the same way.
If you DIY it then it's not much to lose, you'll need to buy an injector puller tool and have INPA, ISTA or ProTool to code the flow values for the replacement injectors in.

That's a pretty damn good offer from a Stealer. Fitted by a competent Indy and job done for less than a grand. Happy days
