Independence Day

Will 24th June now become a National Holiday?

Can Dodgy Dave possibly stay in the medium term (must do for the short term of course)?

We are off to France today, so pleased I bought my Euro's earlier when they were at 1.29 to the pound.

Is this the beginning of the end for Europe?

Well something positive has to come out of the gigantic clusterfuck we're heading for, so I vote holiday.

I think Mr Cameron will have to go. Imagine him now having to go back cap in hand to Europe to negotiate something completely different. Never going to happen - his credibility is shot to hell now.

The markets are really volatile, so the £ has dropped dramatically against the € and the $, so a good move on your part!

We're off on our annual euro cruze, wonder if the French will actually check our passports this time, or maybe slap a tariff on us . :driving:

I'm definitely a bit worried. Working for a business that makes all its purchases in US $ hope the markets sort themselves out sharpish or tough times ahead

Wot I wanna know is whose gonna be paying more when they loose our £350 mil a week,
Bet the Germans r worried,

Re Cameron
I think he's done wonders for a country heading for bankruptcy when he took over
If he resigns today or even in coming weeks that won't be of any benefit to the country imo

He just resigned with effect by the time of the Tory conference in October! I think that, given his stance in the lead up to the referendum, it was the only thing he could do. Sad, but he really couldn't stay on!

If you voted leave, here's the start of the broken promises:

Unbelievable. Farage is such a tosspot.

All bets are off - Scotland Independence & United Ireland both being "discussed" this morning.

It's going to get very interesting in the coming months ...

I didn't look at the in-out vote as a vote for or against Farage , , he was just a puppet for the press to wave around

Wow - all we need now is Trump to win in the US to confirm the world has gone mad. Putin must be laughing into his cornflakes. In 12 months I predict you'll struggle to find anyone who admits to voting out...

Me neither -- the Farage comment was just icing on the cake. Did you watch the video? The Leave campaign were driving around in this:

and now they're saying "oops, sorry that was a mistake". What other b$ was the leave campaign trotting out...?
