I'll probably come in for some flack on why I'm not just moving away frow run flats all together, changing the brand, or even changing the wheels, but I'll live with it
I need to change both rears on the Z and want to stick to the same brand, but would like to know if it is OK to go From Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 255-30-19 91Y to Bridgestone Potenza S001 255-35-19 96Y, with the belief that the slight increase in profile may add a bit to the ride comfort and structural stability of the 326m wheels. They also come in at around 25 quid a corner cheaper.
Are there any issues in doing this? Is it beneficial/detrimental? The tread pattern is slightly different and obviously the model number on the sidewall, but I'm ok with that.
For reference, the front are Bridgestone Potenza 225-35-19 88Y
Thanks for your support. I just seem to be asking questions at the minute and not contributing, but I'm still on a steep learning curve, so please bear with me.
