Incorrect MPG Reading

Not a huge problem but worked out my MPG on the last couple of fills and both times worked out about 4 MPG less than the car was telling me.
Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it??

mine reads 33.2 and i'm getting that

mines always out by a couple of MPG, Ive just put it down to maybe using US gallons not euro ones...

I work out my mpl(miles/lt) evertyime i fill- set trip to 0 and then calculate until next refill. it averages about 4-4.5mpl which i know is very less but for a M i'm happy.

The trip computer in nearly every car is not that accurate. 4 mpg is prob about about right if you've hammered it a bit for the last few miles of the tank and it won't catch up with the actual consumption.
