Inconsiderate driving

Always amazes me when out & about the amount of inconsiderate people driving....this is from Sat in Glencoe.
We're climbing up towards Rannoch moor and closing on the big viewpoint carpark on the left with a sweeping righthand corner when a red Astra pulls out,he hadn't judged our approching speed as I had to brake.....not a problem though as he eventually pulled a 300 metre gap and looked like he was going to continue at this speed.
So we're down the long straight with the wee lochans on both sides of the road and a sweeping left when he suddenly decides to stop, car half on the road. We're only a few hundred metres behind so quickly close the gap and prepared for a door to open.....we had to stop anyway as there was on-coming traffic.Couldn't believe it when the guy got out, went round to passenger door, opened it fully and prepared to piss at the side of the road behind the door. The utter selfishness of this act infuriates me,purely that this guy thought nothing of stopping traffic whilst he had his "comfort stop".......thank feck he wasn't needing a sh*t!!
I leant on the horns and promptly got told to fu*k off,no biggie, but this cretin had only left a huge lay-by 2 miles back and passed at least 2 more places to fully get the car off the road.......here's hoping my bladder doesn't get that small/problematic for a while yet :D

52 years old and can still go 100 miles on a good day before tonsils are floating

Have seen it before on these roads people stopping at the side and getting a map spread out on the rear window, very dangerous but they dont seem to care.

Or is it just a case that they don't appreciate or really understand the problems they are causing

Had something similar a few weeks back me and four mates were all driving, let's say spiritedly and a few guys on bikes caught up with us we toyed with them for a bit then let them overtake then some absolute retard in front in a merc b class just decides to stop in the road, never seen owt like it. two of the bikers would have been seriously injured or even worse if their reactions hadn't been so on point, and my mate who was leading the car convoy would have smashed into the back of the idiots car had he not just slowed slightly to let the bikes pass. Tbh when I think about it the Mercedes driver may have thought that they were doing the right thing letting the bikes pass but maybe that's just wishful thinking from me probably had a Facebook message to respond to, either way stopping dead on a fast road is idiotic and extremely dangerous

About a month ago, I think it was the M61. An old couple had broken down and did not manage to get their car from lane one. A ten mile queue back and they just stood on the hard shoulder watching people crawl past. Clearly no intention to move their car off the motorway. I hope they got a ticket.

It might have been a good idea if some people had stopped to help them.If they were old they might have had health problems that prevented them from pushing the car.

You wouldn't find me pushing my car off the motorway. Had I broken down on the carriageway, I'd be out the passenger door and the other side of the crash barrier before the first of the cars behind me had a chance to wipe me out!

x2, always difficult to judge a situation from a view of ignorance.

My biggest pet peeve, chap is driving on a single track A-road, NSL, doing 30-40mph, I go to overtake and the slow driver accelerates as I'm passing alongside.

Happens a lot, I really don't understand the mentality of some drivers. Like it's a personal attack that I have dared to overtake them?

There must be some mentality like this about it.

I find on the motorway some drivers add 10+mph to their speed as you come past them, once you are infront, they eventually realise / panic & slow down very quickly and then are in the distance within a minute - and not due to me speeding / increasing my speed, simply them pulling back. For this reason I found cruise control the most stressful gadget on a car as it seemed to expose them even more.

Don't even get me started on those who overtake on the motorway, pull once they are an inch ahead of my front bumper and then brake / slow down requiring me to overtake them if I wish to continue at my previous speed. Morons. :headbang:

Bladder problems and older men drivers,a whole new issue.
The gent from Sat had no excuse regarding age....was about 30.
The wife was speechless as she thought he was going to piss on the inside of his passenger door then continue his journey.....didn't have a passenger BTW
