Had the Zed in the body shop 3 days last week to have all supermarket dinks and scratches repaired and painted, picked the car up Friday evening, really pleased they had done a superb job, finish like original BMW finish only cost £620 so I was well pleased, Saturday morning parked the car in the road outside whilst I popped to work for 2 hours before driving up home to the Midlands for the weekend, got home, Wife tells me she was looking out of the bedroom window and saw some stupid, idiotic, moron of a woman trying to parallel park in front of me in a space that clearly wasn’t big enough and whack hit the front of the Zed, by the time the Wife got outside the woman had driven off, result a nice crack in the front bumper under the BMW roundel badge, I am livid!!!! So car was pristine for less than 24 hours, why can’t people be a bit more considerate. :headbang: :headbang:

Sorry to hear that and sole destroying if you want your motor to stay perfect. The only solution is have an old run around where it doesn't matter so much. As a rule I try never to park in the street and avoid supermarket car parks etc but just isn't possible all the time.

BEWARE OF THE VAUXHALL ZAFIRA DRIVER COMING TO PARK NEXT TO YOU.

I dont take the zed to car parks for this reason...
.....even when taking the family wagon I try not to park next to:

ZAFIRAs
FORD Galaxys
VW Golf pluses....

Basically any and I mean any type of people carrier! The way to avoid this is to look for an end space or the further space in a carpark from the shopping centre / supermarket - (man I hate those places - thank god for online shop!)

Sorry to hear about the incident OP, appreciate what that feels like

Switching subjects slightly to tailgaters, after recent observations I can now confirm Jaguar XF drivers are the most impatient :D

Unlucky converted Steve. Buy a gun, then you don't have to go outside to bollock them

Gutted for you, that would seriously Pee me off.

Get it fixed pronto, or it will just hurt for longer.

You forgot to add Honda Jazz's to your list driven by somebody's sweet granny.

The Z never goes to supermarket car parks - mainly because I never go to supermarkets, I leave that to Liz and the Focus. I did have to pop into town on Sunday though to pick up a new pair of glasses from Specsavers and had to take my car because she was away for a days at her mum's. I though it would be quiet but it was the first weekend of all the shops being open over the weekend so they can empty our wallets over the season of stupidity - it was heaving and I had trouble finding a parking peace in the muti storey.

Ran to Specsavers after parking up, tried the glasses very quickly then ran out back to the car park before some blind f*ckwit with 15 kids used my car for target practice. Got there and it was all ok - heave sigh of relief and drive home the pretty way. Put the glasses on to have a read when I got home and they're not right so got to take them back - bugger! I'll go in Liz's car though she's back home now!

I would be livid if some careless twat damaged my freshly repaired car. Makes you want to take a baseball bat to their car, not that they'd be bothered looking at some of th ecrappy sheds driving around out there. As already suggested get it sorted sooner rather than later or it'll eat away at you
