No wonder it was reduced in price - some bastard has tried to cut the roof off! They've totally ruined an otherwise ordinary Mini.... :P

to each their own I guess - Don't like the ordinary Mini much, coupe's the only one I do like...

I take it the pics are photoshopped?
Cause it looks like a cardboard cutout.
Looks to be sitting really high too.
Hope you like it, although we quite like our mini we wouldnt have another one.

shitty dealership photos, better ones after the weekend ;)

Rather later than intended here's some better photos of the new addition :D

Turns out to have been rather more of a bargain than we thought... Yes it was a dealer demonstrator and is just 7 months old, but it had just 25 miles on the clock :o So we've gotta run it in...

@ pvr - please note the DS3 is still in the background ;)

I dont know if you can do this with the newer models but with the older ones you can get a spare wheel and ditch the runflats.
There is a kit that can be purchased from Mini which includes a space saver wheel and a carrier that mounts under the boot at the passenger side.
On the earlier models there is a large plastic cover in this area that is removed to enable the wheel to be sited. This might still be the same.
This cannot be done on S models as the exhaust runs up the centre leaving no room for a wheel.
If needed the wheel can only be used on the rear, so if you get a puncture on the front, you move the good rear onto the front and put the space saver on the rear.

Just washing my polishing pads ready for your visit

Seems to be a white and black theme somewhere 8)

Good luck with it

Hmmm. I'd have to see it in the metal to be sure, but I quite like it. Maybe. But as long as SWMBO likes it, that's what counts

Sounds more like pre registered than demo.

Could only of been demo'd once

:D

apparently they have static demonstrators in addition to driven ones, but they only keep demo's for a set period or mileage...

mileage as delivered to dealer = 10, when picked up 25. Not gonna argue with that :D

maybe I'll bring it along on Saturday as mrs gannet won't be using it - depending on timings?
