In the market for a Z4M Roadster

Hello all,

The title says it all but I am in the process of selling my VXR8:

And have just bought myself a daily driver:

So am looking for a weekend toy.

Really fancy a convertible, I think Boxters are too feminine and am trying to resist the urge I've had for various TVRs since forever.

Am looking for an 08 so I can fit my personalised reg on with low miles and either black with red or blue with black. Won't ask the usual obvious noob questions and will instead employ the search button.

One of the nicest , best priced & with a few extras of note ive seen lately is this Imola roady http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-roadster/bmw-z4m-roadster/2677166?isexperiment=true
with the extra bonus of it being known on the forum most of its miles

Well it's high miles, an 06 and red but actually looks nice and could be an effective toe in the water...

Wouldn't call 60k high  its a BMW not a Vauxhall :P but maybe you should put up a "Wanted" with indication of ideal mileage & budget

Shame you're looking for a roadie, I've got a coupe sitting here gathering dust that I haven't got around to advertising yet.

Good thinking (about the wanted add not the definition of high miles  )

Could also do a bit of a deal if you are looking to move quickly, and it's a 58 plate

Ah mate! Perfect year, decent miles but I'm not sure the colour is for me (despite just buying a Range Rover in grey). Good luck with the sale!

It's a 58 on 40k & he's offering a deal from a already low price of £15k :o you must have a £20k budget to match your ticklist  GLWS but i haven't seen many (if any ? ) 2008 Mr's for sale on here in my 2 years & certainly not at £15k :?

No denying it's a good price but grey too conservative for me plus I would be concerned about being 6th owner in so many years.

I think I may have been a bit hasty, as with the Range Rover I was convinced that I didn't like grey but I think it's more silver I find bland. Grey looks quite classy, no?!

You need to get out & actually see some examples in the metal , Its the same as any other car , you will know when the right one is in front of you

i can assure you the 6th owner on these cars is normal.... they change hands alot.

+1 Also the first registered keeper can often be the dealer. My last Z was barely a year old and I was already registered as the third owner
