Fair enough - wonder how they'll fill the first 2-3 hours of the results show without one... :o
BBC was saying to go to bed at 8 and get back up at 2 for the excitement :o

My prediction is that the land slide for remain will be bigger than expected, I am going for 60/40 for remain.
That would represent a huge swing from the close result indicated by the pre-referendum polls - I'd be very surprised if they were that far out, but who knows, you could be right

The election results were the same type of unexpected swing. Seems to be the case most of the times that the polls are quite a bit off.

There's no option for didn't vote or don't intend to vote as both sides are a bunch of cunts.
No value in counting those who don't care enough about the future of the country to vote to be quite frank. :)

Was intending to vote 'out', but got stuck in the traffic jam/rain on the M25 & M40.

Left Brentford at 4:15pm and got home about 5 minutes ago. Didn't even stop for my coffee break on the way back :headbang:

I always felt that the ones who felt this vote was for them wanted out & according to IDS just now he has witnessed 80% turn out in Essex council owned areas voting out as opposed to a normal 30% for a standard election vote
Its hard to call but my hunch is last minute panic for a remain as we are will edge it

The poll on here is irrelevant anyway as you know and is only a bit of fun.

It would have been good to see how many people don't actually care.

It'll be rigged, fixed for the remain anyhow.
I personally know very few who are voting to remain. But that's just my feelings......
All Politicians are dodgy A holes as far as I'm concerned.....

I voted out and was always going to.

Listened to Radio 2. Jezza Vine's show, to hear about the old lady who'd had a fall and drank the melting ice water from her freezer to stay alive for 6 days. She was in a right state when found and had only one change of clothes, little bedding and even less money to survive on.

Then I see the millions piled into immigrants by our Gov't so that they can live in our country that they've paid absolutely zilch in to.

Basically, just 1 example from today where we screw our own over and pamper those from abroad all because the EU say 'jump' and we say how high?

I don't disagree with any of that but imo the electorate simply wasn't given a simple list of what would or wouldn't change with in or out vote :?
Do you believe the above circumstance would change if the vote is for out ?
Do you believe that illegal immigrants would receive no benefits if they made it here should the vote be out ?
The political speak was all too vague which should tell the masses that even those in charge have little idea what a out vote would entail
Momentous event whichever way

I'm sure there was an awful lot of people who like me stood there with pencil in hand still unsure which way to vote and ended up thinking better the devil you know.
These last minute stay votes could make all the difference by the look of things!?

My thoughts too , many have no real idea if they would be better or worse off hence indecision or apathy :?
Anyhow voting over , counting underway

My grandad was shot down over Germany, fighting for our independence. Millions died for the cause.

70 years on and it's all forgotten. Being held to ransom with threats of sending us into recession, not trading with us etc. If only we had the strength of character and the balls to believe in ourselves, like they did.

Germany control Europe, they just did it without going to war.

Err, didn't we go to war be caused we pledged allegiance to Europe? Poland, specifically? :?

YouGov Poll today
Remain 52
Leave 48

If that's the result then at least it's the settled will of the people and no more referendums. That slimy c**t Farage can go back to his job in Brussels a laughing stock.

Scotland will be blamed no matter what the result is with calls for Scotland to be ejected from the UK by the right wing and state media.

Here's a bit of a prediction.

If it's a Remain result the Tories will go into meltdown and Anti European Tories along with the right wing press and the state media of the BBC calling for the head of Cameron and a 2nd Referendum. Cameron will resign with no shame as he didn't lose the Scottish Referendum or take what's left of the UK out of Europe.

Possible General Election before the end of the year as all parties at Westminster will be split on an EU / Anti EU stance. All of them split except the SNP.

Boris the Dangerous becomes Prime Minister after an even uglier election campaign forming a coalition with

UKIP. 2nd EU Referendum announced along with increased pressure for an English Independence Referendum from the right. No politician in their right mind would want to front and English Independence Referendum as there's too much to lose.

Trump wins in the former colony of the USA and takes back his Trident toys in a huff along with calling in any debt owed to USA.

Europe will show it's teeth with Merkel leading the charge. Debts will be called in and the Tories will have to borrow even more on top of the £1.7 Trillion. Anything not already sold off will be sold off at any cost.

Austerity? You've seen nothing yet. Increased TAXES, cost of living increased, lower wages, hospitals closing, strikes, riots on he streets.

But keep your chin up there's always be an England!

There were no exit polls at the Scottish Referendum.

Ruth Davidson the puppet leader of the tory party in Scotland said immediately after the polls closed that at the opening of the postal votes over the past few weeks it always looked like No would win from the ones she counted or opened.

Davidson was then investigated by the police.

All I heard was what would happen if we leave...
Doom and gloom. The seas will boil. Anarchy would preside. Godzilla will come and eat your face off. Bullshit scaremongering.
Same as others just sick and tired of being told you can't deport that criminal. You can't send that terror suspect back because the EU says it infringes on their human rights. It's our country we should be able to do what we want inside our own borders.
I have no objection to anyone who wants to come and live and work here and pay into the system as I have done all my working life. We don't need any more scroungers flooding the country we have enough of the lazy bastards born and bred here that are doing a good job of crippling this country.

Breathes......That's it I'm done......see what happens.

If its as close as 52/48 does that not show more concerns that we have a divided nation unlikely ever to want the same goals ? :?
Worrying in a way

Most definitely. Just goes to show there's a lot of disgruntled people with little trust in the system as it stands at this moment in time.

Yeah, whatever the result, we've got a problem worth fixing. Never seen a political issue divide families like this one.
