Tapes are s**t and always have been.

If you want the retro experience along with your music the only option is vinyl. Just remove the passenger seat and install a turntable there in its place. You will also need air suspension to try and smooth out the bumps. Also drive really slowly and only on very level roads

Best of both worlds in my old E46 - radio/cassette in the dash and a CD multi-changer in the boot - shame I don't have any cassettes any more! :roll:

I'm starting to feel stalked I also have radio/cassette in my E46 with CD changer in the boot (now hosting an ipod). Also no cassettes in the E46, although in my case as they have all emigrated to the E30.

hi this reminds when i had a etype jag a lot years ago ...went to see my sons in Canada,,, bought a shinny chrome 8 track player off a car boot sale ..also paid £20 for a rolling stones tape.. got back home fitted the 8 track... right i thought lets bang on the stones... guess what...it was bloody Chinese lol

No stalking, it is what my E46 came with - as did my previous E46. Probably not exactly rare back in the early 00s! Oh, and I don't have an E30 (if only)!
