In a real dilema

HaHa!!!! I went to my dealer to check boot size also (I need car for work) and I was actually surprised by its size (compared to what I expected!!!!).

I went for recession white, but love the deep sea blue. I was put off dark cars having owned black once and learning about swirls, but I think if I chose again I would probably go for DSB!
 
The swirls worry me a little as well. My D3 is a very dark blue and it looks a bit like a weather map when the sun is on it!
 
You'll be ok as long as you take care and don't let the dealer wash it! Use two bucket method with proper wash mit etc.
