In a couple of weeks.

Hello and Welcome!

Are you sure over the whole 2.0 vs 3.0 thing? Both are more than capable of landing you in trouble with the boys in blue.

Maybe take some advanced driving lessons and book some track days? Get that speed demon under control :)

Either way, good luck with the search.

Cheers, the insurance is £100 cheaper than my old s;(£ box van at £330, the 2.5 is £333 and the 3.0 is £356, I've checked. It's all down to the fact I would probably use all 3 litres, my biggest ban was 127 in a 50, in a old Sri cavalier, it's taken me years to get to the point where insurance company's dont just laugh when I call them.

I drive like a nun these days but all them horses would feel unwanted and out of not being cruel to horses, I'd drive it like it was stolen, can't help myself. :) I've not had a point since 1998.

Sorry to be devil's advocate but why don't you stop driving like a twat and use the power where it's appropriate? 127 on public roads is ludicrous, let alone in a 50 limit.

My insurance is twice this and I have a clean driving license and have my mileage limited to 5000 per year!

Andrew.

Ollie, I was 21, if your given a Sri as a company car at that age and you don't drive like your on top gear, you need locking up so you bore the pants off the rest of the world, I've not had a point since 98, so I think I've learnt don't you? Andrewr, don't know mate, I've got 3 years no claims and that claim was someone drove in to me when I wasn't in the vehicle. I just done another insurance check and it's £346 today for a 2.5 and I haven't lied or bent the truth. I live in the suburbs and park on a drive, that might be the difference.
