In order of expense you could try the following:
Sound Generator (Scrapyard from a 3.0i - Internal noise only) - Cold Air Induction Kit - Resonator Delete (slightly louder more raspy exhaust note) - Muffler Delete (Loud!) - Backbox replacement - full system.
Its honestly best to do a search on here first mate, then a quick google. Not a huge amount of people have modified exhausts for the 2.2 iirc so there may be no direct responses. Search all the major manufacturers like Blueflame, Milltek, Magnex etc.

Having asked this question before, the responses were that with the original back box on, there would be a slight increase in sound volume and rasp. My inquiry was for a 3.0Si coupe.Exactmax said:Yeah what exactly is a resonator delete on the Z4? Anyone?
