Any experience importing a VAT Q vehicle from a UK dealer? I've been exploring the idea because it may get into the tiny UK automobile market.
According to online research, the dealer may offer my zero-rated firm the proper VAT Q automobile and remove the 20% UK VAT from the purchase price. I would import it into Ireland, pay 23% Irish VAT, and likely avoid import charges since the automobile is less than two years old and EU-made. VAT Calculator
