Imola Z4MR 23k Miles

Having thought long and hard these last few months I've come to the conclusion it's time to try and sell my Z4MR. I bought the car last year from James Paul cars in the south of England traveling from the North of Scotland.

The car has spent most of the time I've owned it sat in my garage, was sornd over the winter and used very little the last few months. I'm still in 2 minds if I sell or just keep her tucked away but I have a itch for another M car that I would like to scratch and in order to fund one and make room I will have to sell the Z4.

The car has good history although not what I would call full. First service was completed and the car was then serviced on mileage rather than every 2nd year. I've just a full inspection and serviced complete by a local independent (premier cars Aberdeen) and the cars been given a full bill of health by Scott. Just MOT'd last week as well with no advisory's. I also have a pile of receipts for work carried out over the years which may throw up more service work not stamped in the book.

I have fitted Ispiri Alloys which I realise wont be to everyone's taste but I do have the original wheels although the previous owner painted black, they are in good condition but not my choice of colour. Only other change is the aerial but I do have the original as well.

Overall the car's in great condition, there is one car park ding on the passenger door that may or may nor come out in photos, no broken paint so should be an easy dent devil fix. I will get the history updated and listed and anything else that stands out from the receipts I have.

Price wise I'm struggling here, as said I don't need to sell and if I have to keep her I will but if I'm way off with my valuation please let me know. Car is not advertised elsewhere as yet, I'll give it a couple of weeks on here for feedback then I'll have a think about pistonhead etc.
I'm thinking advertising at £20k as the car stands
Car will come with both sets of wheels, also a set of brand new unfitted Eibach springs. If the wheels / springs are not required then could drop the price a bit.

I'll also get some better pictures up at the weekend.

23k for £20k...that's a relative bargain...! GLWTS

X2..

I'll be interested to see if this sells near the asking price? :?

More detailed info' on the Service History, will aid the sale, I suspect..

Good luck with the sale OP..

Thanks for the comments, I'll get the advert fully updated this weekend with as much info I can. Also pics will be updated with some proper ones as they were quick ones taken months ago when I had the car out of the garage for a quick clean (not a drive in the snow incase anyone's wondering)

That's one lovely looking car  I bought mine on 28k earlier this year for similar money but as an AUC so if service history is spot on I would say you're priced about right

Cars off to find a new home :|

Not sure if I'm happy or sad, did intend to keep her for a few years but hey ho, time to go shopping for something new I think.

Nice work!!! How was the selling process? Did you get a good level of interest?

Some of the doom mongers on here seem to think nothing could possibly sell above £13k.... :headbang:

Sold to a dealer who traveled up from London. Expect to see a decent mark up on it when its up for sale but I got what I wanted and the garages buyer was a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to show me exactly what he was looking for when buying a car, no haggling and money was paid instantly. The cars 100% good so if anyone's interested in it when it does come up again it's definitely worth looking at, shame the buyer will have to pay a lot more than what I was looking for but hey ho, not my issue.
