Imola Red Z4M Coupe

On Autotrader now for £15,450, seems an absolute bargain

Wow 😱 sign of the times
Although good cars always sell well
Cannot help but think the black wheels and alloy dash are off putting.

Says SOLD on the thread title! :?

Just realised the thread is 18 months old! So must have sold and is now for sale again.

Interesting reflection on the market perhaps, now £5k less than it was 18 months ago

Yes talks of the market being 15-20% down in valuations.
Covid created a bubble that was never going to last.
Lots of buyers paid up a lot of money for cars when prices were crazy. Now the market it getting back to normal.

The aeroskirts have been removed and presumably sold separately, perhaps the intake too. Without knowing how much the current vendor paid for it, it’s hard to know what the last 18 months of ownership have cost. Those items will have made up some of the shortfall.

Yeap the last registered keeper took it on:
no.8 (Current keeper) 22/09/2022. A month after this advert. Shame the aero skirts have gone but its a great price.

I'm warming up to a replacement //M Coupe having sold my Interlagos earlier in the year. I'll be watching this with interest.

Actually, the aero’s were sold separately from the car in the original sale 18 months ago. I’d know- I collected them during the aero adventure I had with [ref]JoelvdrZ4C[/ref]

Now that’s inflation…..

All the same cars have been advertised for months and months not selling.
The only ones that have moved are the ones that have been sensibly priced by motivated sellers.

Lots of people paid over the odds and are now in denial on the value of their cars.

Peaks and troughs. Just like the housing market

Ha ha, who knew I could have so much affect on the market!

Good to hear that the aeroskirts stayed on a forum car. Since we each made our posts, the sharp price increase has made up the shortfall anyway :D

He probably increased the price in response to thirty forum users looking at his advertisement. He must be anticipating a flurry of New Year ‘phone calls and a bidding war!

Or just another deluded dickhead. There are a lot of them about at the moment when it comes to selling cars!

Judging by the way the price has gone down and then up in the last couple of months on that car, I would guess he has had a few enquiries at the lower price so thinks it is worth more. A strange type of 'testing the market'. Either that or needs sectioning! :)
