Imola Red Coupe

Hello there!

I am a new member here from the UK, looking for some info regarding the Z4. Having spent a few days looking at what is on the market today, it would appear that the only Imola Red Coupe examples are the M sport versions. Is this because from new BMW only spec'd the 3.2 M series in Imola Red or could you also get the 3.0 in red?

I am ideally looking for a 3.0 Auto, Coupe, in Imola Red (or other red shades if they were available). I am in the motor trade myself but on the heavy commercial side, so the specialised car market isn't necessarily my forte!

Myself and family have always been BMW fanatics, currently housing a 8 series and a 1976 3 series with 26,000 miles in our collection amongst other classics.

Any help and advice would be appreciated!

Yes, you can get the 3.0si Coupe in red - as seen here: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=68011

Wow very nice example the chap has there! Are they as rare as they seem to be in the 3.0si? If you can advise me how to upload pics I will get some on! :D

Not done it myself, but should be simple enough.
 
The content of the above table is in some doubt. For example, it shows that there are no non-M Imola
Red coupes when we know that they do exist.

Taz is seemingly spending most of his waking hours getting a comprehensive database of coupes together, so watch that space.

That's very helpful cheers. Indicating that there was indeed only the Z4 M Coupe in the Imola red :thumbsdown: An M is always an option but the £500 p.a. road tax is a bit of a stinger compared to a more reasonable £285 of the 3.0 units.

Looks like the search for a 'Bright Red' 3.0si auto sport coupe starts here.. ! If anybody owns or is aware of one for sale, I would be interested to know.

I thought imola was an M only colour..

I know BMW do a lot of other reds, brilliant red, Japan red, radiant red etc etc but not sure what's available in the range

Think you might struggle with the auto,I looked for over a year looking for bright red coupe.only ever seen manual. Someone on here might have better ideas. Good luck with your search :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for the heads up. The deep dark blue fitted with cream leather and also the gun metal grey are also very nice, they would open my options up some what, Ill see what comes up over the next few weeks / months!

Think that might be a good idea. Seen plenty of autos for sale. But bright red is rare in the 1st place. This place is the right place to ask :thumbsup:
 
hello and welcome

with the next 3 or 4 days I will be able to tell you exactly how many imola reds there are, and whether they are automatics or manuals
