imola or sepang

Obviously all opinion is personal and no offence meant.

Sepang is horrid IMO

it would be rubbish if we all liked the same colour, no offence taken :)

Okay look, Sepang is always going to be a Marmite colour and I agree, in MC form it does show off the colour very well across the increased expanse of metal that provides.

But I'm going to stand up for my previous car [once removed] and say that IMO it looks great in all types of light - apart from dull. Much the same way as Imola (and I own one of those now so should know!). The 'Bronze' part of the name really is bronze metal flake in the paintwork and can really pop in light and changing light, but like Imola, change the mood to something more overcast and it soon loses its lustre; quite literally.

Yes Imola is obviously great and yes it's an M colour, but it's always going took fairly good in most tweaked photos on rainy days. I say throw caution to the wind and go with the rarer colour of Sepang. Ultimately you'll feel more special for it and might just experience less w*nker signs from white van man/more cars letting you into traffic because of it

And just for Taz, here are a couple of pictures from my tenure as owner...long live Sepang Bronze!

I love imola. A lot. But I'm quite happy that my silver grey is very understated and doesn't get too much attention.

I give it plenty of attention each time I see it :poke: :P

Yeah, but you don't count. And it's always had plenty attention from me beforehand to keep you in your box :P

It might be about to become a weekend toy again though - new job means daily commute, at my expense, so I am working through the options.... If it doesn't, I'll be putting 25k a year on it.... :driving: :o :(

I don't hate Sepang Taz - saw your car in the metal when inkey$ had it, and in the sunshine it's got a charm all of its own

I was looking for a Z4MC Sepang Bronze or Imola Red.

I really like Sepang (albeit only us, Zed owners, seem to like), but it simply can't beat the spark of a polished Imola Red car.
