Getting out and shooting is half the battle! Some nice compositions

What is a composition?!

Have you thought of wrapping the bit between the fangs al la dubsesd .. I think it would look great on your red coupe.

Hi Rob, yes I have and have seen pics of that on an Imola. Just don't know if I want to steer too far away from OEM though, but if I get eibachs and aero skirts then yes I might do it! Would it be a wrap or painted, and matt or gloss?!

I'd love that to sit on my drive! Nothing against my roadster, but the m coupe in imola is a thing of beauty.
Why am I on pistonheads now :( lol

Get yourself a dslr nd do the car proud, photography is easy, you've got the basics already.

Ha, that's the only bad thing about a garage, you can't look out the window and see it! Thanks for your kind comments Chris, have you bought anything from P/H yet then?! That's how it started for me, the transition from 3.0i roadster to M Coup...! I'll make a note of that camera for possible birthday present next year :)

Stop making me jealous!!! Love Imola

:) Sorry Ruby... But you do have the most popular colour on here according to our poll so don't feel too bad...! Your Interlagos MC is a beaut too.

I cleaned mine the other week drove it once back in the garage and it has road sort on it again :(

I know, disheartening isn't it :( No doubt mine will look all dirty again in 24 hours...oh well, it was worth it for that brief moment of time!

Thanks Rich, Andy and everyone else for your kind words, this forum is a great place :)

nice motor are they 19 s wheels if you dont mind what make are they i want a set for my m

Thanks, they are 19" CSL wheels, used originally on the M3 CSL. Quite popular on our Z4's and look especially good on the M I think :) Thankfully they were already on the car when I bought it so no extra cost involved for me...

We need more posts like yours I reckon Woody. Always great to see a series of pride-and-joy photos :)

If i could afford to run an m ,it would have to be in imola red.You must be as proud as a dog with two richards

Would look even better with some aero skirts....

Just kidding buddy, looks top notch there. Ill get some photos up once the coilovers are on mine and we can have a mini Imola M photo comp. if its not red no need to apply...

In the mean time here is a little teaser of mine taken at Silverstone earlier this year:

Woody, the ///M looks stunning, you ever thought of painting her callipers red?

Thanks Jamie :) Ummmmm I have contemplated it but I think red on red might be a bit too much...? I think I'll stick with standard black, can't go wrong with OEM colour!

Thanks Max, I am slightly proud that Brutus looks after me, but it does work both ways :) I must say I didn't set out to buy an Imola one, it just kinda happened! But glad now I've got it, I love driving it around :)

Grrrrrrrrr  I'm not jealous of your skirts at all....! I can happily say yours will look better what with the lower stance and skirts, and it's 6 months newer! Have you considered all black kidney grilles? Haven't got the kahunas to track mine, do have a driving experience day booked for March though at Donnington. Ferrari vs Single Seater, should be a giggle :)

Funny you should ask about the black grill, its one of those should I/ shouldn't I conversations I have in my head all the time. And yes I did spend a considerable amount of time flicking between photos of you front end and mine...

Track days don't have to be daunting, pick the right track for your first one and you will be hooked, bedford autodrome is great for first timers, masses of run off and apart from one corner not a tyre wall or anything to hit for miles, should you 'come off the island'. You never know after you driving day you might just be booking one up! ;-) Happy to join you if you did...
