For the history part of this thread, Intravee and Alpine KCA 420i fitted this weekend. She's had a nasty layer of dust on her after the local quarry cut some stone, plus a bit of salt so time to introduce her to the marvel that is snow foam :)

Helped by daughter the S-Max and the little 206 got done too. Feeling very virtuous :D

So keeping this thread as the progress of things done, tonight I finally managed to arrange to meet with Luke to collect the hardtop. He'd had it resprayed and it is currently shinier than the rest of the car.

So Bing, do you approve?

It was good thanks, it might be a placebo effect but the car felt stiffer.

I need to find the thread where adjusting the hardtop fit was discussed as I'm getting a lot of wind noise. It looks snug, but the wind is getting under something.

Looks great, nice job

...once those wheels are shadow chrome it's gonna look awesome

Stunning Stuart and great write up, wack some picks up every so often as I'm sure none of us will get bored of staring at her

Question - is it a lot different driving with the hard top on as opposed to the soft top ? Does it feel and sound different ?

Actually the roof would look awesome on your Tango car Neil.

Edit - You can borrow it in the summer, I'll have it back in for the rainy seasons :D

Bing, I think it's going to be good but I do need to adjust it as there's a fair amount of wind noise at the moment. Anyone fitting one single handedly is either brave, Arnie Schwarzenegger strong, or both. Deffo a 2 man job.
