On top of all the things that have gone wrong with the Z4 now the 5 Series is playing up 
The Gauge Cluster has just completely died. Checked fuses nothing. The owners club isn't exactly helpful like this one, its like getting blood out of a stone. However I have been told, probably need a new cluster Now trying to find out if it can be repaired, if I can buy a 2nd hand one and code it in or whether we're going to have to sell some body parts so we can buy a new one from BMW :?
Sorry, just having a little rant, I know none of you can help with this. Just so frustrating. I'm sure its just bad luck but I can't help think with the VW, Lotus, Nissan etc we never had any of these problems - and they are/were older with more miles. Are BMWs really this unreliable? I'm hoping the answer is no and once we get these issues sorted we'll have years / miles of blissful BMW ownership.
