I just had a 14 hour drive to Denmark and it's been raining it's been sunny it's been dusty and I've got about 1 million flies on the front of the car

Please forgive me for what I am about to say

I checked with a hotel concierge and some taxidrivers outside but there isn't such a thing in Denmark.

I'm not talking about hookers with long legs and big you know what's... That's right...you guessed it ...there is no such thing as a manual car wash in Denmark

Beating your mrs isn't as bad as what I'm about to do.... (That's a joke by the way so no starting a separate thread!!!!) Don't judge me but auto car wash here I come!! :headbang:

Ashamed of you. Don.t tell anybody your forum member hehe

Why wouldn't you just leave it dirty ? You know you'll only spend the next two years regretting it !

Leave the flies on it as a protective layer until you get home. Don't put it in a machine wash, think of the swirls and what they'll do to your OCD! :o

Sounds like a business opportunity to be had in Denmark,do they not have eastern europeans in Denmark :D

Like he's going to leave it dirty.

Like his OCD is going to cope with any marks, however tiny

No not an auto!!!!!

Get some Autoglym " fast glass" and Maguires " quick detail " , both brilliant

Edit!!

Sorry, maybe not so easy in Denmark :headbang:

TBH, I am gobsmacked stark left home without a boot full of the stuff Darren...

If I'm on a road trip I've got the lot!

I'd sooner keep my kekks on for a week than not clean my car

I know I'm saaaaaddddd :D

Rapid detailer can only do so much, especially when it's caked on. Ok, so washed all the flies off, the petrol station had a mop thing for windscreens and I put it on the front bumper to soften it, and I rapid detailed the rear and bumper etc, just the sides now. When it's caked on, even the rapid detailer can't soften it, and yes driving back in 3 days. Bloody long trip. 850 miles in one day. Left at 1am, and got to the hotel at 5pm....

:driving: but tired

I did mention it to my cousin about starting it up here and he said eye car culture isn't the same here. There are just 2 detailers in the county apparently, and no hand car washes.....with cars as expensive as they are, perhaps that's the reason.

I still find it weird how Germans look at BMV's, Mercs etc as just bring every day cars! Show em a Range Rover though and......

My cousin is buying a used, four year old Cooper S for £27,000!!

You'd think with cars being that expensive, there would be proper car wash facilities all over Denmark :o Sounds like it's not a country for car enthusiasts.
