I'm Off!

Are you collecting it from the factory? I know Mercedes have stopped this now but I think Porsche still give you the option.Ive done it twice, with Mercedes, and it's a wonderful experience.A fitting start to Porsche ownership.

the only thing is you've got to run it in all the way back..... much better to get it bedded in and then take it back there next summer - although the Cayman is not built in Zuffenhausen but in Osnabruck , the 911 shares a production line at Zuffenhausen with the Boxter. The Museum is brilliant and factory tour very special - if you are interested i can ping you the email of the team you need to contact to get a factory tour ( need to book 3-6 months in advance )

in the mean time may i humbly suggest membershir pf Porsche Club GB .

Congrats! Great choice and glad you've reached a decision on it. I assume the Mrs is happy with this one after some of your test drives.

Don't leave the forum Lux, dry as dust humour and non fence sitting is a rare combo.

I think you might be on your own with that comment John! Understandable though, I've ruffled a few feathers over the past 3 years.
