Hi Everyone, I’m based in Loughborough & about to dip my toe into Z4 ownership, I’ve had E46 320s before. I’m yet to find the right car. I know from owning several bmw motorcycles that forums are amazing for help & support hence I’m here. Will hopefully locate a the right one. Dream car will be 3.0 Auto 2006, was thinking of a Boxster but there stupid cost to maintain. Cheers Guys Luke

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully you'll find the car you want soon, but in the meantime you can be reading up on all the other stuff you'll suddenly find is essential :roll:

Hi and welcome - try and enjoy the hunt.

You can always post questions / links to adverts and the chances are someone will be awake and around to answer. Whilst a good chunk of the membership are UK based there are members in most time zones or who work late or start early so never too far from an answer - have you checked the sales section yet?
 
Hi Luke, welcome to the forum. Assume you mean a roadster (E85), not a Coupe (E86). Are you after a pre-facelift or post-facelift? You’ve a much better chance of getting a well-priced pre-facelift 3.0i, than a post-facelift 3.0Si at the moment. Good luck with your search.

I think with my modest 5k budget a roadster is my limit, an honest decent car required, it will be a weekend summer car, eBay seems just so risky these days. Has anyone seen a 3ltr olive green one before?
 
I didn’t even know olive green was a Z4 colour until a 2.2i popped up for sale on the forum today.

Well I found that z4 On this site 30si auto, it’s listed as sold due to demand I’m 5th in Q I guess I won’t get it. Oh well maybe another will appear soon.
