I'm missing my car.

So as most of you know I don't drive my car that often, maybe two to three times a month during the summer. Anyway I'm away on hols in sunny florida and I really want to take the old girl for a spin. I'm guessing it has something to do with the weather out here. Probably posting down at home

Can't say I'm missing much else from home though.

Just to male you feel better it's been a lovely weekend here. Went out for a couple of very nice drives with the top down!

Yeah, it's been a scorcher - lovely top-down weather... not that we're trying to make you feel bad about being away on holiday...

Weather is biblicle in Cornwall this morning. Missing my Zed too. Not droven her since Saturday. :

Felt the same when we went to Malaysia last year... That first drive when you get back will be ace 8)

Just go and hire a v8 convertible? :) I often do this for a day or two. Breaks up a holiday and gives you another view of the area you stay in.

Tomorrow looks good. I'm planning a 5.00am roof down trip out. :D

I miss my car more, not driven it in 6 weeks and then in two weeks im driving it to Norfork were ill wait another 7 weeks until i get her back from the shop........i never drive my car now, will have done 300-400 miles this year by the end prob. :?
So Steve misses his car because he drives it a lot and can't - but you 'miss yours more' because you can drive it any time you want but choose not to?

:?

I know what you mean Steve
I was in Turkey a few weeks back, 44 degrees, coastal roads around the mountains overlooking beautiful clear blue seas. I really missed my Zed and couldnt wait to get home and drive it.
....I got home to 15 degrees, grey skies and rain !

Rather than have 2 weeks in the Med lying there doing nothing, I'd rather spend a week getting there, one day on a sunbed and a week driving home, given the choice !

Worst, "I'm on holiday in the sun" thread ever!

If it was that if post pictures, but I am really missing the old girl. Only seen one zed an E85 and they had the roof up.

What are you going to do with yourself in Norfolk for 7 weeks?

It was a toss up between a Camry (same as last time) or a charger. There were some nissans, Hyundai and kia's but none of them would ever appeal so opted for the charger. Wish I'd gone for the Camry. It feels under powered and the media screen might as well not exist. The oem screen in the zed that so many moan about is way better even before you talk about nav.

Tbf if drives fine and feels at home on these roads, some of which have as many potholes as ours at home.

Petrol though $2.29 per US gallon :headbang:

I got a new Camry this year also ( as a Florida hire car)..............totally boring but totally efficient transport tool. You understand how many boxes it ticks but it still doesn't help
