I've had my coupe for a couple of months now and I'm ready to start getting involved. To own one of these has always been a dream of mine and now that I'm twenty five and have one of my own I feel very fortunate. I've always had slightly different cars (audi coupe, 1967 beetle) and I'm very pleased to add this to the list. I'm now starting the hunt for some new wheels so any suggestions will be very well recieved.

As for wheels there is a set of gold e46 M wheels on hear at the moment. Might be nice or refurbished to what ever colour you like. They are a really good strong light wheel.

Looks good on the coupe - I have a stratus grey roadster but it took me time to appreciate the colour - looks great in direct sunlight. :thumbsup:

Nice colour and the BBS wheels look nice, maybe a spacer on them would fill the arches a bit more. :thumbsup:
 
I do like the wheels but I was in a small accident at weekend and the wheels didn't come through it very well. As I was exiting a roundabout someone in the next lane drifted over and clipped me. My reaction was to move out of the way but my wheels found the curb quite seriously and I think they are beyond repair. Two are fine and the tyres are all fairly new but I think I'll change them. I've seen some 313 wheels but I think they're a bit out of my league.

Hi Ross,

i was about to ask what was wrong with the wheels..until i read your last comment. Have you enquired about repairing them?

Glad to finally see my ex Z on the forum, its like bumping into a ex girl friend (were the memories are good ; ))

I'd stick with BBS wheels or some OEM CLS's, i just put some CH -R's on mine. Please feel free to salivate!

Welcome to the forum. Like the Stratus Grey in coupe form but those wheels [IMO] definitely need changing (or keeping as winters).
If it were mine I'd be looking at VMR V710s in hyper silver or shadow chrome with 15mm rear spacers and brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 boots.
