Had my zed a week now, nice drive home on the A roads last Saturday, Sunday morning up bright & early, washed her.
Sun shining, had to get the roof off, amazed at how the other motorist wouldn't let me out of road ends etc. :x put the foot down & enjoyed the roar on the motorway on the way to show my parents. :driving:
Mam wouldn't believe it's mine, dad said "can you fit a tow bar?" Mr practical!!! :headbang:
Up to Glasgow this weekend, had train tickets booked but couldn't resist bringing her up.
Last thing I do Everynight Is look out the window at her & the first thing I do in the morning, hate her being out in the rain, want to bring her in the house!
Love her already, smile everytime I see her, can't believe she's mine.
Treated her to a zhp gear knob, now thinking seriously about buying her new boots.
I'm head over heels. :oops:

I feel exactly the same way 2 months in as when u did when I first picked her
Up.

I sat in her yesterday when I got home and parked up and just sat looking at her inside etc.

Beautiful cars :oops:
 
I've not drove mine much, and I miss it. I'm excited for Monday to drive it again.

It's just down to rubbish weather, been busy and having a 640d as a DD.

Yeah that part of Zed ownewrship get's me down sometimes. It's a real shame that other motorists immediately assume you are a complete tw@t and will usually behave aggressively by refusing to let you in/out or by tailgating or cutting you up. A real shame I've even considered getting rid once or twice becuase of this. I've previously owned several kit cars and was more used to attracting positive attention (other drivers would nearly allways let me out or pull in - presumably just to get a look at an unusual car).

Now it seems the BMW emblem attracts only negativity. I guess it's down to the legacy from decades of of arrogant nobhead behaviour on the roads by the army of reps in 3 and 5 series company cars? Who knows? The Zed is my first BMW and I noticed an immediate difference in the way I was treated by other drivers. Sad but true. :(

Never mind though. F*ck em all - roof down sounds up and rise above it all! :driving:
 
Every time I go in the garage I must admit to lifting the dust cover to have a little peaky 8)

I have not experienced the anti BMW thing from other motorist.

I have experienced the BMW beemers mustn't wave ?
When your driving your z and come across another Z that won't give eye contact is a shame.
 
Whether they wave or not, I usually wave. I'm 54 and have owned a number of cars, but this is the first car I've had that makes me smile almost every time I get in it. :sweetheart:
