Hi if anyone saw my post im back after 8 years I missed my 3.0 and saw a bargain basment Z4 3.0 and bid on it so if anyone can help would be apreciated , a got the car back last night and it drove the 125 mile trip home with no problems , after a inital inspection this morning i need the following bits to start repairs , or if anyone knows of a braker that may have these in stock !

1 gear knob ------- just got a gear knob no longer needed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 lower grill
3 near side arch liner
4 engine under tray
5 owners hand book and wallet (I have a service book )
6 bonnet catch / lock mechanisum

problem to solve so any help would be appreciated
the TPS warning light is lit up constantly amber on the dash and it wont reset (just wondring if the sensors have been removed from the wheels )

shes going to need a trip to the body shop and the dash is it up like a cristmas tree , I aslo need to fit a new mounting bush to the diff s

Not sure where you are based but I have a lower grill off a facelift car, owners manual and folder and rear arch liners. Not sure if you are after fronts?

Will the grille fit a 2003 bumper ? I,ll see if I can find out definitely the handbook and wallet I can organise a courier to collect if you can wrap !

Just checked the grill is a different part number and looks totally different let me know what you want for the handbook and wallet ?

The e85’s don’t have sensors in the wheels, they use the abs sensor/reluctor rings system

To be fair to me I didn't realize my account was still live after my 8 year absence I'm going to do a bit of re learning to use the forum , can't remember how to upload photos πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

So, catch us up with what you've been driving in the 8 year interim....? And when do we get pics of the 'new' Zed? Or are you waiting until it's a bit more presentable

There's a zhp up for grabs in the buy & sell section just now or if you're just after a standard gear knob I can help you out there. It's not perfect but at the same time it's not ruined.

The TPS light will almost certainly be related to the other dash lights that are on. Describe which lights are lit and can make an educated guess at the problem. Even better, get a code reader for it!

I have the steering angle sensor lit up but no fault codes πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ, I've had the car plugged in the steering is 7deg off center so have to book it in to get it corrected , I've also done a live data check and the front wheels are reading slightly different about 1to 1.5 kph different on the fronts and the same on the rear but all within 1to 1.5 kph on all 4 wheels just wondering how far out they have to be to activate the TPS , all 4 tyre pressures are correct so I'll see what they say when I take it in πŸ‘

I have an after market five speed gearknob for a fiver + postage, unless you're in the Swansea area shortly.
It looks the same as the six speed one in the O/P post

well after the zed I bought a audi a4 cariolet as it would be more practical ,lovely car well built and boring as a bucket of sand , so I choped it in for a a3 TDI Sline 170 I loved it really nice car ,I then changed that for a TT tfsi 2.0 , and now have a Mercedes c250 amg sport coupe which is a stunning car 7 speed auto with paddle shift remapped to 250bhp and 45mpg , Ive also had a civic type R as a track day car but sold that last year , my photo bucket account has lapsed so ill have to work out how to put photos up again :)
