Hi all :)

I'm new to the site and have recently bought a Z4, 2005, 3.0i in silver.
Loving the car so far and only thing that annoys me is the plasticy dash trimings. Really lets the car down.

This is a good site with lots of How To's which i'm reading and keeping
Altho a detailed description of removing door cards i cant seem to find with pics :(

Anyway nice to meet you all :)

Welcome and let's see some pics.

Door cards are a one piece unit. Take less than 10 mins to remove:

Unclip silver door handle cover. Remove 2 large torx a 2 small torx
Pull airbag cover tab and remove torx behind it
lift up window switch out of door armrest and disconnect loom
pull plug out behind door pull lever (blue tack or fine blade) Remove torx. Unlip from front edge and remove cable

OK now brave - bottom of door panel and pull away from frame. Work around to top edge. Pull away from top edge directly away from frame
Disconnect speaker cables and if applicable door handle LED's

congratulate self
Stop clock at <10 mins...
