Came out of work tonight and it was clear blue sky (cold, but who cares).

Roof had to go down (obviously) but being a dick, it didn't occur to me to wipe off the lovely beading on the roof from this mornings rain.

Well, it did occur to me, just at the point I saw it dripping off the roof panel as it was lowering into the boot.

I thought I'd enjoy the ride home and check then....

Luckily, when I got home and opened the boot the top of the luggage cover had drips on it as did the floor panel that covers the battery, and the sides. Luckily it dabbed up with a microfibre and I then checked under the cover...no water by battery etc.

So I was lucky, but wont make that mistake again.
 
My wife pulled the same sort of stunt when it snowed heavily a couple of weeks ago, we were going out in the 335 - she wiped the snow from the boot lid but not from the back window, opened the boot lid and a good slab of semi melting snow slid into the boot space !

At least I had somebody to blame I suppose :rofl:
