Well now. Since I was off most the day Thursday and it was a beautiful day I decided to jump!
Earlier in the week I had ordered the $90 Zaino kit. I was a bit perplexed with the Z5's and Z2's and no ordered sense of em. So I cheated and grabbed a little Zaino for dummies instruction off the net
At any rate, I took some before & after pics. The pics IMO don't do it justice. Just the car clean and no wax is pretty shiny. The Zaino is really shiny. Just comparing the pics the Zaino is a bit more clearer. I think I could shave in the reflection with little problem. The clay bar while different was no where's near as complicated as I had imagined it to be. That was neat though feeling the difference between clayed and unclayed paint. I'd say all in all I took roughly 4 or 5 hours to do the whole process (wash, wash, clay, wash, dry, polish, gloss, polish, gloss) I'm not real sure because after the first washing I BS'd with my neighbor for a good hour, then later on as I was claying two neighbors took advantage of my water hose and tied up the spot & hose for a good hour. The joys of living in a Condo. I have noticed since Zaino'ing the car is faster
Oh I used Z5 on the first coat as I had some swirls.
On that note a question,
Just how much Zaino wax/polish stuff should I use? I read where it said a little goes a long way, but I wasn't even getting a haze on spots.....
Anyways on with the pics!
Before

After - I got mixed up on when I took the pics....so I'm not sure if they are after coat 1 or 2.
