The cat spotted the fault in the design and pointed it out.



Where the wires attach there is a unsealed hole. Water has entered when being washed and corroded the components leading to a short circuit.
The wires burnt before the fuse blew.
Lucky no damage to car.

I do like them, have ordered another pair, but will seal the gap before fitting.

When I got married years ago the ex wife got a couple of kittens, my name suggestions were either

Galore and Golightly or Sweet and Sour, needless to say both were not at all well received, they ended up called Sooty and Sweep maybe those early doors difference should’ve been a wallet saving warning
