I had an 86 gpz600r that I loved but always wanted a 900. I sold my 600 after a few years and got an 84 900r and hated it. Was a cracking looking bike, very fast but just didn't handle well on the twisting.
Sold it and bought a 1000 exup and had it for nearly 10 years.

Coincidentally I am currently enquiring about two old bikes to buy.....a 1987 GPX750R and a 1979 KH250. Two iconic bikes from my yoof. If I had room I would also be looking at a GPz900R, as that was my dream bike in 1984.

My best friend at Uni ‘Buster’ had a 1975 Kawasaki 250 triple…with a front drum brake…always stopped about 20 metres further down the road than the rest of us on runs..
