If you have RFT issues ... worry no more

Did that a while back and it's been great ever since.

Bridgestone RFT

Michelin PS2 RFT

Do we know if the Pilot Sport 3 wil have a ZP version? PS2 ZP's seem hard to come by.

what do they cost? also do they have the rim protectors that the Bridgestones have?
best I found were bestbuytyres for the rears - £242 each for the rears which my local watling tyres price matched.

Granted they aint cheap but the bridgestone's were a similar price actually :D

So ... roughly double the price of a normal set of tyres ...

Yeah, I'm still swaying towards the Falkens for around £400ish. Rim protection is an issue I believe though?

There isn't a pronounced lip like the bridgestones have but the tyre does protect the rim pretty well...

I have mine on Michelin's for approaching 2.5 years and the wheels were new with the first set... still unmarked :D

yes, I did not say they were cheap. But they are now a similar price the run shite bridgestones, and IMO worth every penny.

You pays your money and makes your choice - life would be boring if we were all sheep :D

I think tyres are cheaper than M's

Rolf, I'm confused....when I was looking at tires a while back I couldn't find any Michelins to fit our 19" rims ...perhaps I clicked "non_rfts". ??

Just as a matter of interest has anybody tried the Yokohama Advan Sport V103S Zero Pressure System, always liked Yokohama tyres, they are quite sticky, but give acceptable life.

As I have 17" rims they are £127.00 a piece, that said the 255/35/R18 are only £147 but not sure if these are RFT

Wow run flats are so expensive!!!!!!!!

I had falkens on my 2.5 SE but I did manage to kerb one of the wheels when I was a bit careless once as the tyre offered no rim protection :(

Would the rim protection on the bridgestones actually prevent me kerbing at parking speeds? Has anyone found they actually work?

Just wait till your rear wheels crack, then you be playing music (using your cracked rear wheels as drums)

Just visit Watchdog UK .... Google "UK Watchdog cracked 19 inch wheels" you will get my meaning :)
