If you could own 3 cars from your year of birth....

So 1973 has been done a bit.... we must all be at the perfect age for a midlife crisis...

I'll have to agree with the Countach.

Second it would have to be

And finally, from the leftfield......

If the purists forced me to drop the Countach (which I won't), then I'd have a 1973 Firebird :driving:

1988, for me i'd have;

Porsche 959
Ruf CTR Yellowbird
Ferrari F40

Not all first released in '88 but all were being made in my birth year :)

Delorean (love these and being from Belfast where they were built all be it badly!)
Ford Capri 280
BMW M1

For me (1988), after a brief look, it'd be:

Lamborghini Countach

I simply loved going out in one of these, I really want one, one day.

Porsche 911 Turbo

Love an old Porsche, and Californication has made them cooler. Need to smash a headlight though.

E30 M3 Evo

Because BMW fan basically, and I think it's a very special car.

1979 Andy Warhol M1
Lotus type 79 F1 car
Dukes of Hazard '69 charger

Might be stretching it with these, especially the charger, but the series started in '79 and i couldn't think of much else i really wanted so i'm sticking with it :D

Gov

found this on the Hoop and Stick-forum.com, could it be you..??

Could be - I remember I had to share the hoop with my brother every Christmas !

ok, I'm going to go with cars launched/released in 1977, just because of the challenge to find something worthy! ;)

Porsche 928 (anyone who has seen Risky Business will know that it's just plain awesome)
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Special (Smokey and The Bandit, obviously!)
Ferrari 308GTB - ok, technically it was launched earlier but 1977 was the first year the 308 was bodied in steel (previously fibreglass) and the GTS was launched, made famous by he-of-the-'tasche Tom Selleck as Magnum, p.i.

ok, a bit of a stretch there but it'll do for me :)
