If the zed range was not invented-

I would say an S2000 but cant help but feel I would get bored of the high revving to get performance.

Probably a MX5 as that is what I was looking at to begin with, the retractable hard top version.

Glad the Z4 was invented though.

Hi all,if the zed range were not invented/created what would be your choice of two seater?
I sold my 91 Nissan 300ZX to get my zed so again a zed for a zed back to the Nissan

Dukester

Since I couldn't afford a cayman at the time I bought the Z4, probably something like a 350z. More likely I'd have ended up looking at 4 seaters or 2+2 's though - like a 10 year old bit of Pork. (the love it hate it 996).

Likely the Boxster as that was coming in as a close 2nd place choice when I started looking for a Roadster in 2002/03.

Definitely a Cayman... or a VX220 Turbo. Lotus Elise without the reliability issues

Still prefer the zed to 'em all...

Probably a Boxter, but every bugger has one. I see far more of those then Zeds on the road, at least that's what it feels like.

It would have been a Cayman S for me - if I'd have had to stick to a 2-seater.

Otherwise it would have been an e46 CSL.

Both were about the same price - although the CSL was about 3 years older and had 30k more miles on it.

I'm probably the same. And if the zed hadnt been built, or thought of, I probably wouldnt know what I was missing.

Either that, or I would have gone for an M3
