If sponges are bad and mitts are good....why do...?

If sponges are bad, why does AG provide two of them most of the valeting kits? The wife very kindly bought me the Autoglym Valeting Collection Car Wash Kit which I'm most pleased about. Not so pleased about the weather being so bad as i can't get out there and use the aforementioned products.

Sponge is great for the wheels and the windows and the inside of the wheel arches 8)

I've got one of those wheel cleaner type brush things so i can clean the back of the alloy, but i dont normaly pay much attention to the wheel arch. I sometimes give it a blast with the presure washer but it's not part of my normal cleaning routine.

I use neither. I use a Swissvax Wasch puddel! Although i thought the Zymol Sponge was also very good. Never liked the mitts!

of course, they're the same people who use a small brush to clean the dust off the vents!

If you are going to clean your car, CLEAN your car. Don't do things half-a$$ed.

I don't use small brushes to clean off the vents. I use a can of compressed air....or my air compressor..
