Mine seems to be the same with the cold weather but doe’s seem to free up if I give it a few good twiddles, I was wondering whether to apply a little silicone spray under the dial but as it’s not used much during the winter I’ll probably leave it as is.
 
Tell it you want to talk about your feelings? Ask it why it hasn't put the laundry away yet?

Wait until the warm weather.
Mine is the same in the Z4 - The large dia Controller in the 335 is ok in both summer and winter.

Just put some grease with a paint brush on top of it like in the following video (minute 10:53). :thumbsup:

Thats spooky I noticed exactly the same thing today!!!
Also a lag of a few minutes before the iDrive reacts to the knob being turned.
Although thats probably due to the shite MMI box i bought from the carsara MT store on aliexpress - ignore that prize pri_k at all costs.....
