iDrive screen hole

Does anyone know what the hole is for on the right side of iDrive screen border.
Looks like it could be some kind of reset button you might operate with a paper clip.

Well, take a needle and press on it. Either you will get a selfie or sth. will reset.

The CIC i Drive light control is from the windshield mounted light sensor that controls all auto light related functions through the FRM module..

Manual variation to the i drive display is through a menu in the idrive..
