IDrive issue with music playback

Hi All

I am having an issue with the Idrive/ music. I can listen to the radio no problem, however when I select music from the Idrive I can see all the artists and tracks however when I scroll down and select a track there is no playback. Equally when I insert CD it loads the tracks so that they are visible on the Idrive but no playback. Tried turning the car off and back on but no joy.

Has anyone experience of this issue?

Is the audio muted? This pauses playback. Perhaps not if the radio is audible..

I'd also plump on bad mp3s but then if it's importing CDs....?

No, the music has been imported from cd and played without issue for the last 4 months until today
