I was always lead to beleive the quickest and easiest way to convert car into cash was ship them out somewhere far off, where a new identity, forged service history and MOT's etc etc wouldnt be needed, as the contents of the containers are rarely checked (thoroughly) they get away with it, stolen £60K car into ~£10k clean money wired directly to several bank accounts to avoid suspicion.
