Identifying dashboard lights

I guess that's one problem with having a 7 year old car with 70k on the clock, certain parts will be due for replacement. I'm planning on keeping the car a while though so it's worth fixing these things.

This happened on my dash today about 10mins after starting and driving the car (having been parked in an office car park in the cold all day), with a cheery warning beep :

The RFT is a new one to this thread :

"The indicator lamp in the instrument cluster lights up yellow. The Flat Tire Monitor is malfunctioning or out of
order. Have the system checked as soon as possible."

Combined with :

"If the warning light for the DSC is lit in conjunction with the yellow warning light for the brake system: DSC including DTC and DBC is malfunctioning. The car is still drivable. Have the system checked as soon as possible."

... I am a little worried

Lights are not on any more after stopping and starting the car... Thought it might be related to having 17" 225 wheels on for winter all round, as opposed to staggered 18s, but I never had this problem last winter :?

The car is 7 years old and just short of 80k miles... So I think I have been hit by the 7 year sensor itch. If it happens again I'll take it in for a check up. However a £300 bill at this time of year would suck :(

Hmm, this does look rather familiar to me I'm sorry to say

Looks like the dreaded brake pressure sensor failure to me....

Hope you get it sorted.

Thank IvanDobskey - I just hope it's not more as I have an extra light on. Have to say, I nearly crapped my pants as I was doing about 70mph on a dual carriageway at the time they came on

Is the third light the tyre pressure sensor? Have you tried resetting it?

I've had that light come on for no reason whatsoever and just pushed the reset button to clear it :)

It cleared itself... Was set last weekend when I changed the wheels an pumped up the tyres though. Been out a lot today and the lights stayed off... Though the back end was a bit twitchy I think it was just the damp roads and slightly higher temps.
