Identify the part?

Hi all,
New to the forum and proud owner if an '04 3.0 E85 in Silver.
I have had the car since September and loving it, but it came with a bit of damage on the front bumper, that yesterday I discovered was part of slightly more damage where the previous owner had clearly caught the underside of the car.

Is anyone able to tell me what the plastic trim is below the horn and what both of the attached sensors are? And is it worth replacing?

Also, every single plastic pin that attaches the back edge of the bumper to the wheel arch trim is broken or missing. Are these easy enough to source?

Thank you for any help you can provide :)

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum.

That part is the nearside splash guard. It breaks really easily & is an expensive item from BMW ~£180 :o . Mine was broken when I bought the car & I managed to get a second hand one which I fitted in July. Here's the thread for your info. https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=116021&p=1666414#p1666414
The 2 sensors are the outside air temperature sensor & I think the disc shaped thing is the alarm sounded.

I bought these clips from fleabay as some of mine were broken https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-5mm-...&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&redirect=mobile

Mine also had the under engine cover missing so I bought a non oem one from ebay & fitted that at the same time. I'd run the car for a couple of years with it missing & the broken splash guard with no real issues tbh but I prefer things to be right. Hope that helps.

Dave
