Anyone know what type of car this is?:

Excuse the non embedded link, posting off the iPhone from South Africa and in bit of a hurry :)

Possibilities so far are lotus and tesla, but the logo is like neither.

No, we have never had those here. From the badge and general shape it looks like a Proton, but not sure which model.

That white performance automobile in pristine condition is a "Toyota Tazz" - an ancient model Corolla that was still manufactured and sold here until two years ago.
 
Only things that have me thinking not an Ascari (apart from the badge) is the line from the bonnet over the rear arch, not right, and the cut in front the the door.

That said, I can't think what it is. Why I didn't post sooner.

yep, blame the migraine :( Corolla it is :D

not sure about the other car (not the GTR) being an ascari myself...
 
Then my money is on Ascari too - although quite which model is anybody's guess. Logo on rear seems a good lo-res match.

I honestly thought it looked like a Noble, and looking at their website, it looks like they photocopied the design of the M12, they look identical side on :o
 
The website makes me laugh ! 'the rossion lifestyle'.........what, explaning to people what your car is as nobody has ever heard of it.
