Identify part

Who can help me identify this part please?

I’ve been having no end of drips, leaks etc. have changed the rocker cover and the eccentric shaft sensor (that cleared my recurring EML & engine management light issue) Recently changed a radiator house, the seal had cracked due to age. Figured I’d got everything sorted at least for a while, cleaned everything up then identified this. A small drip that lands on the exhaust and creates smoke under the bonnet. What is this part and is there a gasket or something behind there that likey needs changing (seems like all my seals and gaskets are failing)

It’s located at the back of the engine. Photos are from underneath

Pretty sure it's the vacuum pump, in which case you need a new o-ring (Item 3 in the diagram)

Yeah that looks pretty spot on, couldn't find it on any online exploded diagrams. Would make sense too as it's like whack-a-mole with my seals and gaskets at the moment. I guess we all go through it

Thanks Enuff_zed & Merlot machine

The thing is the Oring you point out is further within that area. My leak is coming directly from the corner of the exterior plate. Would that suggest I actually needs part/s 21 on the diagram? If so could you tell me the part number for those please

Is it a fairly easy job for an amateur without special equipment. I’m assuming it’ll require an oil drain first?
