It is worth experimenting as personal preference is a factor here, depending on driving style and acceptable comfort.

Tyre make will be a factor too.

I am on OE conti's and run 34fr 36r - Higher than most but works for me (car has wider track & wider alloys than std, and is on Eibach springs and uprated bushes, geometry tweaked too)

33F / 31R works well for me, quelling most understeer, with 245/40-18 F / 275/35-18 R tyres.
