Visited the Duxford D Day Anniversary air show and one exhibit impressed me:

Command vehicle used to transport commanders to the front, 20 to 24 tons. The passenger cell is bomb proof, has a 'V' floor to disperse the blast, high velocity bullet proof glass and so much armour the doors are air assisted to open and shut them because of their weight. Depending upon accessories fitted (!) 3 to 4 million pounds to you. . . .

Cool and like you say perfect for the Tesco run.

Suprised at the price though, we have build many similar vehicles in the factory. You should be able to get several for that money. Maybe it's packed with comms tech.

O what do you do buzyg??? Sounds fun

Re the cost - It was a comms vehicle too and stuffed with all sorts of equipment - it's what the (very impressive) red beret told me when I asked about the price. Shame every soldier can't be transported in one. . .
